PHPMyAdmin Public Access password security

Hello,
I am trying to set password on public Access link to my PHPMyAdmin link but when, I enter user name password and click save, system acknowledges that it has saved but no password is activated on the access link. Also when I go back to the setting the setting is disabled automatically?

any help or ideas please?

Between Panel is great and easy to setup, just purchased iOS app setup an its awesome. Great work.

I am using apache2.4
and now now when I click on software from dashboard to restart service or change setting I see a blank screen,
e.g. see below for MySQL
