Some backups of my websites no longer working / never complete?

I have a problem with one of my aapanel (openlitespeed) servers; I can no longer make backups with a few specific sites only.

All Database backup still work fine. However some Cronjob and manual website backups no longer work. When I try to make a manual backup, it starts, but never ends. Its nothing big, about 200MB zipped; should finish within minutes. But for about 1 hour again I only see "Backup up, please wait .." and thats what I keep seeing.

Newer sites -- I have created after the ones that act up -- work flawlesly in backups. So its only a few sites 🙄

How can I troubleshoot this properly from within the aapanel dashboard or cli? Where are the backup log files stored?

P.S. its a live server, that I cannot reinstall.

The backup log will be output to /tmp/panelExec.log , you can see if there is any error message in it

ok. No errors in that file. Size: 9093184. Ends with:

adding: .DS_Store (deflated 85%)

Debugfile size is constant and backup seems finished. While aapanel is still saying "Backing Up, please wait ..."

What other troubleshooting ways are there?

edit oh I just found all my fully finished site backups in /www/backup/site/

none of them of that specific site show under Package Backup in my aapanel. Deleted them in cli, running a backup again, without errors, completed zip in the same directory and aapanel is still showing the notice. Refreshing the screen, and according to aapanel the backup for the site "Not exist". So its a aapanel controlpanel bug?
