Please Help with SUBDOMAIN Difficulties....

I am trying to install bitwarden password manager on a subdomain... I have two websites on the panel...

websiteA.com
websiteB.com

Both have wordpress installed and subsequent rewrite rules in the config.

I created bitwarden.domainA.com in my cloudflare dns...

Everytime I go to it it diverts me to websiteA.com and not the subdomain.

I added bitwarden.domainA.com to the domain manager... although no folder in my webroot with that name shows up... am I to create a whole new site even though its in the same domain?

Second question.
Given that NGINX location is different to the default standard... www/server/nginx/ as opposed to /etc/nginx
How does it work, should I install NGINX with apt install nginx so that it is in the corrrect folder for bitwarden or do i have to try and make it work with the nginx in the aapanel server nginx location?

I've came a long way from knowing nothing about this stuff a few months ago to now having websites up and running and working... but adding subdomain just keeps sending me to the home page?

ANY help will be greatly appreciated, thanks so much for taking the time to read this and help me.

There are two possibilities for redirecting to the primary domain name

The main domain name is set up with SSL, but the subdomain name is not, but SSL is used when accessing the subdomain name
As a workaround, configure SSL for both domains
The directory specified by the subdomain is the same as the main domain

The services installed in aapanel are in the /www/server directory

I managed to fix it... appreciate the fast reply.

Although.. I have spotted a bug and I have replicated mit many times over now, tried fixing from admin page, turning google auth on and off, but the code is wrong each time.

I wait until the next google auth code comes and the same again. It used to work after waiting a for the next one to generate but now not at all.

I turned it off with bt option 24.

I notice a few others have the same issue. Any ideas what maybe causing this?

p.s. Time zone in sync across all devices.

I tried to test the working condition of Google auth on the latest version of aapanel, and found nothing unusual, can you provide some screenshots?

aaPanel_Jose to reproduce it.. when the authenticator prompt asks you for the code upon login..... put the wrong code in, it's exactly the same error
You have 4 tries remaining.
Again I put it in and you have 3 tries remaining. Even though it is the correct code.
So i have just disabled it... which is a shame.

I'm going to add my question here since is it similar. 🙂

Here is what I've done-

Add Site > and added example: cooldomain.com
Then I added admin.cooldomain.com

What I want is to upload an index.html to admin.cooldomain.com which I did. But, when I go to admin.cooldomain.com it will still show the default index.html from cooldomain.com.

So, then I started going crazy and using the bind subdomains and all kinds of things not understanding but end result is that admin.cooldoamin.com still shows the index file from cooldomain.com

What am I doing wrong?

Do you deploy different websites for the two domains?
If not you can try this

then just the front end at domain.com
