Mail Server 2.7

Hi there!

It seems i have run into an issue while installing and running for the first time the Mail Server version 2.7 under aaPanel app store.

First and foremost, this is my configurations under SSH

Fresh Centos Installation (7x Minimal as recommended)
Run the command yum update -y (for latest releases and updates)
aaPanel Version 6.6.6 (run the installation, all good no errors, took 5 minutes)

After installation, i got currently:

Centos 7.8.2003(Py3.7.4)

Made the necessary notification changes as the warnings came up, followed all the steps then i installed these apps under the notification panel that comes up after the first login page:

MySQL 5.6.47
Apache 2.4.43
PHP 7.3
PureFtpd 1.0.49
Mail Server 2.7 (added this manually since i need email accounts)
phpMyAdmin 4.7

I also added a site under Websites section all configurations were done successfully, including Lets Encrypt SSL seal was issued, HTTPS was forced and upon checking its working.

Under the Mail Server 2.7 i have added a domain name and A record, all green, so i got MX, A, SPF all OK status and DKIM, DMARK not set.

So far so good, problem is the services are not running, at least a few of them, under service status, Postfix is working and running, Dovecot, Openkim are stopped and clicking on Start option it gets stucked in that loading screen, service does not start at all, Dovecot and Openkim.

Checked the log in this app, and it says this... I am not sure I understand it, since its in Chinese...

So at this point i really dont know what to do and any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance for any cooperation on supporting me.

An update to this topic, the DKIM and DMARK records were added into my registar already they should be available any moment now, i simply followed the instructions provided in the domain list under the Mail Server 2.7 app.

The services however are still stopped, the screenshot below...

Another topic update after further digging into this since i am going to use this machine as a final production and i got no time to lose on it... Basically if you click start on the Mail Server 2.7 button service such as Dovecot and Opendkim, while it loads, you refresh the page and the system starts to run by itself, problem is, it will not stick and will get back to what it was. Its a pain really since i cant be all the time refreshing the control panel and neither want to do it anyways.

Bottom line, the version 2.7 of the mail server app is not working properly in this 6.6.6 version so a bug was found (thats most likely it). Logs are not generated so therefore its really hard to find out whats going on anyways.

The services dont stick (running state) if you do the same as i did, they will run for 1 minute or 2 but not any longer, when you visit the same service status section again you will see them stopped, period.

Any help would be much appreciated in this matter since i need to run this service as production server in around 24 hours or find another solution for it. Thank you all in advance, please help me.

Update the Mail Server App to 2.9 as appears will not work or solve anything too btw, it will not update to 2.9 in fact the Mail Server App is broken.

@TheWormsUnited Did you tried uninstalling & reinstalling Mailserver? Initially, my OpenDMK service was not running & I had tried reinstalling Mailserver it worked.

@aaPanel_Jose I went through all the topics here, I am getting "A record parsing fail" message while adding a domain to the mail server. I tested with SSH my I am getting ping response from mail.mydomain.com.

Note: DNS is also managed at Cloudflare

sniper I did try to install and remove the app several time including updating it to 2.9 the system does nothing, app is not updated after a success message display right after the loading process. It simply does not work, in order to send emails we need the 3 services running or the mail server will never going to work.

Postfix works. Logs dont exist. This is clearly a huge bug on this release.

@aaPanel_Jose still waiting on a suggestion from you to this issue. However im going to remove this system today since i cant keep it without working. I warn about the mail server before, i was convinced that the issues were fixed. Perhaps you can reach this topic and let me have a solution.

Sorry for bothering you, can I log in to your server and check? This may be caused by the post office component is not installed successfully

Does the primary domain name of your A record match the domain name of the mail server?
just like
primary domain name:
mydomian.com
A record:
mail.mydomain.com
