nginx 1.21 + Nginx free firewall + CentOS Stream 8 PROBLEM-NOT WORK

Good afternoon. After installing Nginx free firewall, nginx does not start Tried installing other versions. Nothing helps.
Please help!

slimshady so far I know if using arm instance nginx and nginx free firewall not working together. If uninstall nginx free firewall then nginx working fine again. @aaPanel_Jose @aapanel_sniper is there any plan to fix this issue??

Does Centos Stream support panel? Or is it better to install CentOS 7?

Btw, I tried AlmaLinux with aapanel, It almost works but Centos 7 work better.

slimshady why? just suffer . you could try to reinstall Nginx free firewall; but I would recommend a Centos 7, it will take you like 15-25 minutes to do a full reinstall/config. I don't know about your backups....

I say this before 3/4 year, but nothing changed. On ARM cpu when install Nginx firewall, immediately killed run of Nginx...

Even CPanel does not support CentOS 8. And CentOS 7 is dead on 2024, but acctually already dead now 🙂 no futher development.

AlmaLinux created by Cloud Linux a commercial distro, so AlmaLinux features must be limited, otherwise they can not sell Cloud Linux.

Rocky Linux led by Gregory Kurtzer, founder of the CentOS project after RedHat decided to switch to CentOS Stream. CentOS Stream tracks just ahead of a current RHEL release. CentOS will no longer be a stable point distribution but a rolling release Linux distribution.

So, IMHO aaPanel should focus on Debian/Ubuntu and Rocky Linux.

idflorin, yes work on any Debian 10, not choose yet newest 11. And depending what sites you have. Wordpress like LiteSpeed. I have forever free license from Plesk, but Nginx+Apache never get so powerful... I choose the aaPanel. Using WP all import (many 100k products) with 2GB+ databases. Nginx with Apache I can run 1 importing and not slow very down the TTFB, with OLS 2-3 imports at same time. Hestia CP try too, in 2 minutes die with 1 import...
But when you have other type sites, Nginx is easy and good choice. Debian system using near 10 year without problems, CentOS is hard to learn for newbie, Ubuntu have many bugs (2x slower system response and so https://laracasts.com/discuss/channels/servers/ubuntu-50-slower-than-debian ).
Apache is the legend, all sites will be run without problem, but eat many resources and without firewall can very fast die (flood attacks) .
