Developers advise to use the Direct links option when downloading large files.
The Pretty Links option only allows download file size up to 2.91G. This method is as easy as clicking the download button.
However, direct links are inconvenient because there is no download button and you have to click the right mouse button to download. However, there was no file size limit.

The download problem can be caused by a server timeout (the script tries to set unlimited time, but some servers may refuse that).
If you handle that big files and you have problems with downloads you could set the option “direct links”, under general settings.
