Just did a fresh install (centOS 7.X, OLS 1.6, Maria db 10.4, PHP 7.4) and trying do a manual install of wordpress and can't make the initial connection to the db: "Error establishing a database connection".
User, db name and password have been checked several times.
Getting the following in the maria db error log:
2020-05-18 6:02:39 80 [Warning] Aborted connection 80 to db: 'unconnected' user: 'root' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)
Any pointers on where to look or what to do?
