editing wordpress increases load average

Hi,

I have a single core 2 gb vps with a dozen wordpress websites. It uses openlitespeed and php 7.4. I notice things run smoothly but around a certain time each day the load average goes to 100% and gets stuck

I think it is when 2 or 3 people are eding wordpress. What apps or extensions can I put to help with this?

Hi, use htop/top to check in real time which program is using the CPU
yum install htop -y&&htop
apt install htop -y&&htop

is this the high load cause?

Increase the open file limit in MySQL configuration & restart MySQL. After that check again the load.
