aapanel is simply the best free and open source hosting panel with continuous support and frequently updates. I am coming from Sentora, I-MSCP, VestaCP, CyberPanel, CWP and ajenti. With aapanel we have flexibility and security with easy way and not "buggy" softwares which needs resources. aapanel needs a strong API and some additional plugins and in the future will be number one for open source community in all over the world!

I agree with all, I try all panels, the payed license of Plesk too (but in monthly license are not included the payed security plugins), but in aaPanel Jose like only Nginx 😃 No firewall for Apache or for the brutal OLS, Mod_security can´t find, Nginx use as proxy for Apache or OLS... etc.
In the panel is all for Nginx, other users are forgotten... :/
A little minus, users are not limited, 1 user with WP can kill 8 core server.

Best webpanels for free are aaPanel (for starting guys) and Webmin (tons of settings).
For money (cheap) is CentOS webpanel, but only for CentOS and without pay you not get security (like Mod_security+OWASP rules etc.). Big minus is in the monthly paying is not included support, the support is big money:

brother opensouce is like that product is freee but if you ask for support then you need to pay double than paid product. that is why opensource is not much popular its stucked at level1 never crossed level3
to say fact even aapanel is level1 users get free and leven3 users get a paid one.

aapanel's weakness is decentralization, the permission for www user for all websites added to it. All websites are run under one user, which is a big problem with localattack
