Hello everyone,
I understand this issue is not related with aaPanel but I'd like to seek some advice from developers in this community.
Back in July I switched from web hosting company to self managed VPS (Linode). I'm glad that I made the decision to use aaPanel as the hosting panel after trialing different panels such as virtualmin, DirectAdmin and CyberPanel. The installations and daily operations of aaPanel are very straigntforward.
I'm based in New Zealand. Recently I've been working on a project for a New Zealand educational institution. The website content needs to be accessible by their students around the world including students currently (and physically) in Mainland China.
Current situation,
Linode VPS A (Sydney) --> IP address A --> hosts 2 websites (website-a.com & website-b.com)
website-a.com --> not accessible from China
website-b.com --> accessible from China
Linode VPS B (Sydney) --> IP address B --> hosts 1 website (website-c.com)
website-c.com --> accessible from China
At the beginning, I noticed website-a.com is blocked by GFW. I thought that GFW blocks website by it's IP address as website-c.com hosted on Server B has a different IP and it's accessible. Later on I found out that website-b.com hosted on Server A can be accessed from China. Now I'm confused...
The majority of the users are from NZ or other countries therefore they can access the website easily.
I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.
