lower_case_table_names = 1 must be 0 ?

I have aaPanel install and running very well with couple of domains, now one of our project required mysql to be change with lower_case_table_names = 0

i have tried to change in config but than its failed to start, so please advice how to make it done without loosing data

I just set it up and started normally, I am using mysql5.7
