/root permission from 700 to 550

I have a security warning suggesting a change of permissions on the /root directory, from 700 to 550.
I tried to change it from the file manager but without success, an error message appears: "Never trouble troubles till troubles trouble you!"

How to solve?

Hi, login to SSH using root account, type chmod 550 /root and enter
