I get the same. "redis service failed to start" redis.log does not exist on /www/server/redis/ Also: /etc/init.d/redis restart -bash: /etc/init.d/redis: No such file or directory Config looks fine.

Also, port is not occupied: netstat -tulnp|grep 6379 returns nothing.
