Why do we store all backup in the system?

Hi, I have noticed, all websites backups are being store in the system. I thought every backup replaced the old one without keeping each version in the system which consumes the server space.
Just look at my backups from last year and they are still on the server

Hello, if it is old you can delete it manually. It should be caused by the developer modifying the directory.

aaPanel_Kern I am the owner and no modifications done. I checked my storage was almost full. Found these backups of websites in backup folder on aapanel panel. I have deleted it but I just wanted to let you know if there is way to avoid storing old backups on server and only keep a copy and next back up can replace new backup.

Hello, you can just delete it. Check whether the current backup uses a new directory?
