Fail2ban SSH Protection Not Working

i'm experiencing an issue with Fail2ban's SSH protection on Ubuntu 22.04. While testing the system by attempting multiple SSH logins with incorrect passwords from different IPs, I noticed that no blocking occurs and no logs are being recorded. Interestingly, the web protection module is functioning perfectly, but the SSH server protection remains inactive without showing any error messages.
I've verified that failed login attempts aren't triggering the expected blocking mechanism, and there's no trace of these attempts in the logs. This selective functionality (working web protection but non-working SSH protection) suggests a configuration issue rather than a system-wide problem.
Could anyone help identify what might be causing this discrepancy between the web and SSH protection modules?

suggest you check fail2ban log: /var/log/fail2ban.log

I tried to run fail2ban through the terminal instead of through the aaPanel interface. I stopped fail2ban in aaPanel and started it from the terminal. When I ran '/usr/bin/fail2ban-server -xf start', there were no errors, but the sshd jail is still not working

aaPanel_Kern I haven't modified any configurations. I only tried to install and uninstall fail2ban through aaPanel, and tried to restart it via terminal instead of through the panel. Is there any solution for this issue?
