I am writing this post to express my disappointment regarding the recent changes to the Mail Server feature in aaPanel. As a lifetime plan purchaser, I was under the impression that the plan included all features without additional charges or limits. This change to impose a monthly limit and fees for the Mail Server feels misleading and contrary to the expectations set when purchasing the lifetime plan.
The term "lifetime plan" suggests a one-time payment for full access to the panel's features. Introducing restrictions or charges on previously included features diminishes the value of the plan and undermines customer trust. Many users, like myself, rely on aaPanel for its simplicity and transparency, and this decision creates unnecessary frustration.
I urge the aaPanel team to:
- Clarify whether the Mail Server limitations were part of the original agreement for lifetime plan users.
- Consider removing these restrictions for existing lifetime plan users to honor their commitment.
- Improve communication about future changes to avoid similar misunderstandings.
As a loyal user who has supported aaPanel by purchasing the lifetime plan, I hope the team will take this feedback seriously and take steps to address this issue fairly. Transparency and trust are critical to maintaining a strong and loyal user community.
Thank you for your attention. I look forward to hearing your response.
Sincerely,
