Hi everyone,
I am having a rather confusing issue regarding subdomain settings in aaPanel. Some time ago, I added a subdomain sub1.domain1.com with the intention of mirroring the subdomain sub2.domain1.com. However, without any additional configuration, the subdomain sub1.domain1.com automatically indexes the domain2.com website. I have never set anything up for this domain, so I am confused as to why this could be happening.
As a first step, I have tried checking the root directory to make sure there is no overlap between the subdomains sub1 and sub2. In addition, I also checked the nginx configuration at /www/server/panel/vhost/nginx/, but there was nothing suspicious that could explain why sub1 was referring to domain2.com. I have also tried various steps such as reloading nginx and changing the domain configuration, but the results are still the same.
On the other hand, I suspect that this behavior is related to WordPress plugins or automatic redirect settings. I have checked plugins such as Yoast SEO on the main website, but have not found any indication that the plugin is causing the redirect to another domain. Is there a possibility that this is caused by the DNS forwarding settings in Cloudflare or the automatic configuration from aaPanel?
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so, how did they resolve it? I would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide any clear guidance or solutions. I am also open to suggestions on whether to delete the old configuration and start over with the subdomain setup in aaPanel.
Thanks in advance for your help and feedback!
