hi im new..install aapanel and aawaf

Hi all I am new and I discovered via google aapanel, I am setting up my server to manage my clients dozens of sites, I saw that there is both aapanel and aawaf, I can't figure out if they should be installed separately on different servers and then configured together or if aapanel already includes aawaf inside.

How does that work?

Hello, it needs to be installed on a different server, if you use aaPanel you can use WAF instead of aawaf
aawaf works using reverse proxy.

thx a lot for the answer, aaPanel_Kern but which is better ? i dont have problem to start and run a new server but i need to understand if is better the waf included in aapanel or aawaf is not clear in my opinion or im missing some documentations?

Hello, under the same configuration,
aawaf requires an additional server. If the server is on the same intranet, use aawaf. If the server uses Internet communication, the website will have a certain delay.
If you have only one server, it is recommended to use waf in aapanel

Hello, aaapache has been installed and nginx is installed. Aawaf can no longer be installed.

i have just installed openlite and the i have read the
so i need to understand if that can compromise the functionality of server if i have internal waf with nginx and openlitespeed
