Enormous performance difference between a PHP version installed via apt and one installed via aaPanel
I have tested different configurations under Ubuntu 24.04 and Debian 12, and in all cases, the PHP version installed via aaPanel is 3 to 5 times slower than the version installed via apt on the same computers. The only version of PHP under aaPanel that runs at the correct speed is 7.3. Versions 7.4, 8.1, 8.3, and 8.4 all run at least 3 times slower. I compared the configurations, which seem identical between PHP 8.3 via apt and 8.3 via aaPanel. I also compared the configurations between 7.3 and 8.3 under aaPanel without finding any real differences, even though PHP 7.3 runs 3 times faster than 8.3. I tested both the quick install and compiled versions without any difference." pendant 6 secondes
