Making aapanel re-direct from www to base domain

Just started out with aaPanel (7.0.20) bit of journey and still trying to get first site working before i migrate the rest. I setup site in WP Toolkit go Letencrypt working for https://mydomain.com but not for https://www,mydomain.com from what i sense letsencrypt is bound to the base domain which is fine I will just put redirect on I thought. However I added www.mydomain.com. to My Site > Domain Manager and went to My Site > Config > Redirect and added the redirect from www.mydomain.com to https://mydomain.com but when I load the www site it still fails and doesn't redirect. I tried in incognito as well and restarted ngnix. Was there something I was supposed to restart to push the setting through?

Hello, this is really late reply as I thought the forum will email me if update and just seen the little notifcation bell up top of site and seen you reply. I will look in my profile settings to see if i can get email alerts turned on going forward.

How I fixed.

Open WP Toolkit site settings
Under Domain Manager mydomain.com should already be there from when site setup.
Add www.mydomain.com (now should have mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com under domain list)
Go to Config tab > Redirect
Click on Add Redirection button
Type: Domain, Mode: 301, Source: www.mydomain.com, Target URL: https://mydomain.com and click Confirm
Now anyone trying to get to the site via www. will be automatically directed without landing on a 401 page.
