If aaPanel migration is stuck at 40%, it usually indicates one of these issues:
Large database or backup file size causing timeout or slow transfer
Network speed bottleneck between source and destination server
Insufficient disk space or I/O wait on the target machine
Firewall or port interruption during rsync/SSH transfer
What to do:
- Check real-time logs:
tail -f /www/server/panel/logs/panelTask.log
- Verify disk space on both servers:
df -h
- Check SSH connection stability and speed
- Restart transfer task from aaPanel without deleting the original backup
- If still stuck, manually migrate using:
rsync -avz /www root@NEW_SERVER_IP:/www
How long to wait?
For large sites, migration should normally finish in 10–60 minutes, depending on size & bandwidth. If it is frozen for more than 20–30 minutes with no log activity, restart the task or switch to manual migration.
