File Editor Issue

After the latest update, the file editor is not working. When I double-click on the file or click on 'Edit' in the contextual menu, the file does not open. The debugging console does not show any errors.

I’ve run into this too. editing straight from the search results throws the “configuration file not exist” error, but if I open the same file directly in the file manager it works fine. larger files don’t seem to load well in the editor either. What’s worked best for me is downloading the file, editing locally, and re-uploading, or just jumping in via SSH with vim or nano. That’s been the most reliable fix.

Yes, I also enter through ssh and vim, but if I try to click on the file, it doesn't open any of them.

I found the problem, the McAfee antivirus blocks the editor, when disabling it it reopened, this could be because it finds something in the editor

Hello, is it the same to use the browser to access it in traceless mode or change the browser?

I had the same issue after updating. Clearing the browser cache and restarting the panel resolved the issue for me. If that doesn’t work, check file permissions, as updates can affect them. Usually, it’s something minor.
