I am trying to setup the cert for the Panel itself. I subdomained http(s)://panel.xx.com and it worked. DNS pointed of course.
URL's main root was:
/home/xx
admin.xx.com was:
/home/xx/admin
And I tried to get a Let's Encrypt Cert for admin.xx.com.
It failed with "Deployment Failed!" (no other error messages)
I think maybe it either put the acme challenge in the wrong folder or didn't know where to put it (I chmoded /admin to 777 so it could save the challenge). But I can't even debug it because I didn't get anything besides "Deployment Failed" to go on.
I might try creating a new SITE, admin.xx.com, but it's not 100% necessary right now. I just hate when stuff doesn't work / I can't work it.
Any idea how to fix this or at least debug it? Is it an aaPanel bug / limitation where you can't put the panel cert on the subdomain or another site and have to make a site for the Panel? It would be nice if the Panel just ASKED for a URL (ie: panel.xx.com and then just bound to that so you didn't have to specify the port / could request SSL in a couple clicks). Can you feature request in aaPanel?
Thanks for any help,
Regards,
Trent
