cron mysql gzip backup extra ordinary large

I use cron job to backup all my databases. The zipped backup file size is very large than the sql backup. Pls note that DB includes table with blob field holding pdf, doc, xlsx, jpg, files. Here is a log generated by cron

How big are your manual backups?

Manual backup is also big.
So I think that aapanel is reporting the db size incorrectly.

Are manual backups basically the same size as Cron backups?

I am unable to make a manual backup using phpmyadmin, may be because of inactivity timeout.
I downloaded the gzipped backup from google drive (which was uploaded by cron job).
The unzipped file size is 1.4 GB
