Cannot backup site / using wp toolkit after mariadb upgrade

i need help on this, i cannot share the server information unfortunately. I migrated the site db (upgraded the mariadb) and after reimporting, the wp-toolkit and backup stop working. even if i create the db exactly the same like what's written in the wp-config.php file.

But everytime i do backup manually or using cron, it always says "Sorry. Specified database not found."
