Apache 2.4.68 Compatibility Issue with Multiple Websites in aaPanel

Hello,

I am using Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS with the latest version of aaPanel.

I have configured two websites on aaPanel. After upgrading Apache to version 2.4.68, the second website stops working and returns an HTTP 421 error when accessed. The first website continues to work normally.

If I downgrade Apache to the previous version, both websites work correctly without any issues.

It appears that this problem is related to Apache 2.4.68. Could you please investigate and provide a fix as soon as possible?

This issue is resolved in the latest version,
You can upgrade the panel to the latest version and save SSL once on the website after the upgrade.
This is caused by the latest version of Apache requiring some additional parameters.

I followed your instructions, but unfortunately the issue still persists.

I am using the latest versions of aaPanel (v8.0.4) and Apache (v2.4.68). After configuring the SSL certificate and clicking Save SSL, the configuration is saved successfully. However, when I visit the second website, I receive the following error:

Misdirected Request

The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection.

Apache Server at www.example.in Port 443

Could you please investigate this issue and help resolve it as soon as possible?

This is not an issue with my server or hosting panel.

The problem occurs only when I use Apache 2.4.68. If I downgrade to an earlier Apache version, everything works correctly.

It appears that the issue is specific to Apache 2.4.68. Could you please investigate and resolve the compatibility issue with this version?

Try adding configuration in the /www/server/apache/conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf file:

SSLStrictSNIVHostCheck off

Is it normal to restart apache?
Also check whether it is caused by browser cache?

Yes, I'm using a Cloudflare Tunnel (ingress) as the reverse proxy.

I already tested in an Incognito/Private window and also cleared the browser cache. The issue still occurs.

I already added SSLStrictSNIVHostCheck off to /www/server/apache/conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf and restarted Apache. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

Which is single cloudflare tunnel for running both websites.

After updated apache 2.4.68 only one website is working.

When I downgrade the apache both websites are working correctly.

It may be a problem with the Cloudflare tunnel,
I directly used the A record proxy added by the domain.
