I am planning to deploy a high-traffic WordPress website and would appreciate some advice from administrators who have real production experience with aaPanel.
My planned stack is the following:
- aaPanel
- Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed (OLS)
- PHP-FPM
- Redis object cache
- Cloudflare APO
- Jetpack
- MariaDB/MySQL
- FastCGI caching
My goal is to build a stable, secure, and highly optimized environment that can handle heavy traffic while maintaining excellent performance.
I have a few questions.
Is aaPanel stable enough for a high-traffic production environment?
Which setup are you currently using?
If you have used both, which one has been more stable and efficient under heavy traffic?
Are there any recommended settings for Nginx, OpenLiteSpeed, PHP-FPM, Redis, OPcache, and FastCGI cache?
Are there any special Nginx rewrite rules or cache-exclusion rules required when using Jetpack together with Cloudflare APO?
Which URLs should be excluded from caching when Cloudflare APO and FastCGI cache are used together?
Have you experienced any compatibility issues involving Jetpack, Redis, Cloudflare APO, and aaPanel?
Do you have any recommendations regarding security hardening and long-term maintenance?
I would especially appreciate feedback regarding the following areas:
- CPU usage
- Memory usage
- Cache efficiency
- PHP performance
- Redis compatibility
- Cloudflare APO compatibility
- Jetpack compatibility
- Ease of administration
- Long-term stability
If possible, please also mention your approximate traffic volume (for example, 100,000, 500,000, or more than 1 million monthly visitors).
I would particularly like to hear from administrators who have migrated from OpenLiteSpeed to Nginx or from Nginx to OpenLiteSpeed, since real-world experience is often more valuable than benchmark results.
