Huge log (MySQL)

In less than 2 weeks I get 2GB MySQL log file.
As I only have have low traffic web sites, I don't know if this is expected ?

File extension is ".journal" and I don't know how to read their content.
Files are located in /var/log/journal/ and all file are each 128MB.

I find how to clean the log but for now I'm just wondering if there's something wrong to have such huge logs.

If the MySQL log is large, you need to check the specific log content. Only by analyzing the specific log content can you know what the problem is causing.

I have the following suggestions for limiting log size for you to consider:

The value of this parameter 'expire_logs_days' in the MySQL configuration file can be reduced. The default value is to save log for 10 days.
You can click "Clean Log" in the log interface of MySQL software to achieve the effect of "Clean Log";

Close your MySQL log. This method is available, but is not recommended unless it is a last resort.

What is your suggestion in order to be able to read that log files content ? I can't open/read it.
