Cannot access subdomain

Hi,
i followed the steps to add subdomain in aapanel, the A record is correctly entered because i got confirmation from the service where i purchased the domain:

The DNS checker is to make sure the subdomain and IP were entered correctly in the DNS which it is.

Yes, the site still not resolving so this must be troubleshoot by your web host of that IP.

but i am not able to connect to subdomain. What steps did i do wrong.

Make sure ping subdomain.domain.tld related to its IP
Create a website using: Website - Add site: subdomain.domain.tld
Browser open: subdomain.domain.tld

@aaP_kotakomputer.ceo#23642 thanks for your reply. I created sub domain impotrapide.msinnovativefesign.website using oneclick deployment in order to install Wordpress. DB was created successfully. So if I understand, I need to create subdomain like this: imporapide.msinnovativedesign.website.tld. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi I tried what you advised, but still not working. I am no longer able to access my website main domain neither from private domain nor from outside. I am only able to access the subdomain via private network. Is there something I am doing wrong?

what do you mean by "I am only able to access the subdomain via private network"?

Look like your aaPanel setup is good, maybe firewall issue? Do you use IP Public? Can you ping from internet (using https://ping.eu/ping/) to your subdomain and vice versa?

You may provide us your subdomain name if possible, so others can help you better.

hi, my public ip address is 76.66.181.183 and domain is: msinnovativedesign.website and subdomain is: impotrapide.msinnovativedesign.website

aim getting a site not found error when trying to connect to site via public or internal address. I erased and recreated both domain and subdomain but still having the same issue. I can connect to subdomain with my internal ip dress 192.168.2.195. But I cannot connect from outside my network neither to domain or subdomain.

Good news, you site is working. What you need is just connect your aaPanel to IP public

Good, your sub-domain pointing to right IP Public 76.66.181.183

So, what you must do is:

Add your IP Public 76.66.181.183 to your aaPanel, or ...
If you are behind Firewall and IP 76.66.181.183 is on Firewall, then just FORWARD 76.66.181.183 to 192.168.2.195.

NB: This is basic networking issue, not related to aaPanel.

aaP_msinnovativedesign Hello, did your domain name resolver give you a solution? From your description, I'm guessing it's more of a resolution problem, you can use the IP to build the site, I'm guessing it's accessible

How does your aaPanel connected to Internet?
Is aaPanel behind a router?
Is aaPanel behind a NAT?
Is aaPanel a VPS?

Can you draw itu from Internet --> IP Public ---> aaPanel?

Look at this picture, what do you fill in the field of: Server IP ?

@aaP_kotakomputer.ceo#23864 Aapanel is behind a NAT. The local IP address for the server where Aapanel is located is 192.168.2.195. And public ip adress is 76.86.181.183.
The IP address which in the field of Server IP is the public IP address: 76.86.181.183.

Subdomain is now ok. But i am still not able to reach main domain. When i entered the local ip address 192.168.2.195, i am getting the page site not found (picture attached). it is the same issue when connecting from external.
You said the Aapanel configuration was good, so the only issue i am seeing is wether my domain is not well configured or there is an issue with registration. But the registration company is saying that the name resolution is completed and that i should check wiyh host server. So i don't know where else to troubleshoot.I have alredy deleted and reinstall the domain and subdomain twice without any result.

Your sub-domain is able to access, but main domain not, then:

Please check and screenshot aaPanel Website menu
Manually add your domain/sub-domain to your PC at hosts file so you can test your website using domain name instead IP. For windows see: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Since your server behind NAT then you need do PORT FORWARDING from 76.86.181.183 to 192.168.2.195 for both ports 80 and 443 (https).

Hi I am faxing another issue. css style sheets are not loading and I checked in the forum, the solution is to force https in Wordpress. I tried it but the procedure failed because I have port forwarding activated on the router. The address appearing for the server is a private IP address. So certificate cannot be applied. Is there a workaround for this issue? Thanks
