alternative for mail

Hello, I have a vps on which I am running cPanel from years. I am using whmcs on it. It is working fine for email. whmcs always needs to send email to users using ticket, invoice reminder etc. I am using aapanel for my other webistes which does not need mail server. But now I thought I should leave cPanel and switch to aapanel for my whmcs. But always mail goes down. Daily mail stopped working. Now I am very tired with it.
What do you guys use for mailing except cPanel? Is vestacp is fine? Or cwp is fine? or please suggest me what do you guys use? I will be thankful to you.

I do have one aaPanel server with WHMCS but I don't use aaPanel for email service. I have a dedicated email server I manage, and all the emails from WHMCS are sent using SMTP authentication via the email server.

maverick why should I waste money on additional mail service if I have my own server? On cPanel it was fine.

Well, let me know when you get the difference between having your own dedicated email server, or using cPanel's or any other control panel's embedded software functionality.

You asked "what you guys used", I replied with what "we guys" over-here use.

Btw, we don't "waste" any extra money on the email server. We administer dedicated servers used for virtualisation, the Email Server is just another VM.

I've been using mailcow-dockerized for a couple of years, but I'm interested in testing Zimbra's open-source suite. When I get the time to play a bit with it and see if it's any good I'll try it.

What I enjoy less about mailcow is the bad support (there's never any issue, or if there's an issue its always your fault cause they're great) and unless you're paying for support (which actually isn't all that expensive) the developer only answers to what he wants, and if you disagree with him he'll resent you, like a little bitch.
