None of the WP websites can run on such low VPS if you don't have 5-10 user sessions per day and it should be blog.
Or 1 req per minuter with caching, anyway it will be slow.
WP is very hungry with processing and memory especially if you will use a lot of plugins and not well-writen themes from ThemeForest.
