CentOS 7.9 vs. Ubuntu 20.4 LTS

I have been using CentOS for a long time and installation is pretty quick on CentOS. Recently had to use Ubuntu 20.4 LTS for setting up client's VPS with AAPanel, but it took so long. Why it takes longer on Ubuntu as compared with CentOS?

I use Ubuntu 20.04 and aaPanel installation only took several minutes. Make sure you have good internet connection to aaPanel and Ubuntu repo.

Ubuntu now selected by the most used, CPanel.

Ubuntu is more slower like Debian, and unstable too... For novice users is Ubuntu good because of support and forum.

CentOS is really hard to learn and end on 2021 will stopping new releases, died.

In between two I prefer the Debian Linux (many many years ago start with this, because at start ask a hacker group and recommended system say Debian, I still not know 100% sure why, but I happy, not have problems 10+ years on servers).

So don´t use Ubuntu Linux for kids at server.

Stealth Centos 7 has support till June 2024. But Yes Centos 8 will be ending by December 2021.

Debian need less VPS or dedicated power, when use Ubuntu need more money for hardware, not efficient like others.
I importing nonstop XML many 100 000 products every day, I had to change my mind what OS use.

But use what you like 🙂 Your choice. The main question is why is Ubuntu slower than other.
