Correct method to upgrade MariaDB

I am using MariaDB 10.5

I'd like to move to 10.6

What's the correct way to upgrade, please?

With PHP we load another version, then switch it when ready. For the database items, appreciate it's different.

I'm guessing full backup of databases and then update and restore the databases? Or should an in-place upgrade work?

aaP_rob 1. you need to recreate all users and databases and upload your backups

I've just upgraded from 10.4 to 10.5 a few weeks ago and I don't remember the 10.6 option being available

I've backed up my databases, can I just change the version in the console and all will be well with the world, or is it going to destroy all databases and require me to restore the backups?

I'd seen that there was a 10.6 version available from vendor site. 10.7 is in Release Candidate stage and 10.8 in alpha

@aaPanel_Jose Do we know when 10.6 is likely to be added to aaPanel under the dev roadmap, please?
