Does aaPanel update along with BtPanel?

I want to know does aaPanel update along with BtPanel which is supported in China Mainland?
I find that the BtPanel version is 7.9.1 while the aaPanel is just 6.8.24 now. I wonder if the old bugs and security problem that had been fix in BtPanel would happen on aaPanel? It seems that aaPanel hasn't update for a long time, the official site is still showing "2019 New version is coming"....
