Hi everyone ! I just tried the WordPress Deploy and I have to admit that's making the job perfectly 🙂 So fast that it make it suspicious (even if I'm sure this is not). How did aaPanel manage the installation ? It downloads the last WP package, unzip and push credentials I indicated ? Also I notice that it has installed WordPress 6.0.3 (with is available since less than 1 day). So that's pretty great ! As I did not find any information/documentation, I wrote this post to say that it worked fine for me. It allow to define everything, and nothing remains to do manually. Now my question. I check the cache option at the install (as I'm using NGINX). Not sure if it worked as expected, and when I try to access the setting from the site setting I get this : What am I supposed to do to correct this ? As there's no ON/OFF option around this, I'm affraid to check that box (I mean check the cache option box when installing WP from WP deploy tab), if I don't know if it works as expected or not. Please advise 🙂 PS : if there's any documentation on this feature, I would be happy to get the link.

edit : I just make a new test/try with a different subdomain, it makes no more the error.

I had problem on creating/displaying pages. I've solved it by forcing WP permalink changes.

This time I had a different experience and some issues (unsolved).

I have added a new sub-domain. WP deploy was OK. But after checking I see that IP address is maybe not solved.
I get :
`nslookup mysub.domain.com
Server: 127.0.0.53
Address: 127.0.0.53#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: mysub.domain.com
Address: 127.0.0.1`

(address for my old previsous sub domains return all my server IP address)
I guess this is also why SSL can't be activated.

So I have deleted the site from aaPanel website list. Now trying to add the sub-domain simply (without de WP deploy). Once done, still getting 127.0.0.1 in the nslookup

PS : note that nslookup returns 127.0.0.1 only for the site installed with WP deploy.

For now I have to consider that my sub.domain.com has a conf file somewhere (I don't know were) that force the 127.0.0.1 (DNS resolution work fine from my computer). And yes I have waited 24 hours before worring (even it my TTL is set to 360sec)

Hello, please check whether the hosts, nameserver and DNS services are set?
Use other websites to check whether the domain name resolution is normal?

DNScheck indicates the correct IP address.

I found this :
Please note that I have 40 websites on my aaPanel.
And this files contains only 2 entries (both has been the only ones created using WordPress deploy function).
The other domains works perfectly.

Why all other website not in this list ?

Ok. So that is 100% expected.

For now as it doesn't work, I want to do it without the WP deploy function.
Adding the sub.domain.com is OK, but I'm not allowed to activate the SSL I get the following error :

Do I have to remove the 127.0.0.1 line for that sub-domain from my /etc/hosts ? or what else ?

Hello, please try to use the SSH tool to log in to the server and execute the following command to update openssl. Is it possible to solve it?
btpip install --upgrade pyOpenSSL bt reload

Updating openssl I get the follwoing warning :

Can pip be updated safely ? I don't want to break everything !

I'm a bit worring about security now...
