Custom Error Pages

aaPanel, including the installed Nginx, cannot run its my own error pages. I tried OS Debian 11 + Ubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 and Nginx version 1.18.0 to 1.22.1 + Tengine 2.2. Manual installations + and also module added to Nginx before installing and compiling.
When I install Nginx without Aapanel on a clean server, my own error pages work correctly

This is quite good, but it only works if people go to pages from a country that is allowed. I also use MAXMIND GeoIP2 plugin.

If people enter the web pages from an unauthorized country are still displayed by the default Nginx error pages.

And when I turn off the web pages the same will be the default Nginx error page.

Try to add the configuration to the nginx main configuration instead of the site configuration, please backup the configuration before modifying the configuration

In Nginx configuration it allows me to insert it only into the section "server { ... }", but it doesn't work anyway 🙁

There is a sagserve.xyz domain with index.html, If you are not able to get to the domain, add your country in Nginx Conf to the GeoIP writing. It's just a test server with a domain, you can do anything there, it will be deleted anyway and then canceled.

I'm using same custom error pages without any problems on Ubuntu 22.04

It's because of MAXMIND and GeoIP2's error redirection as aaPanel_Kern said.

You are welcome. I think you can use Cloudflare for a faster and more effective solution.
