Hello, i have severals sites with redirect in them, in version 6.8.37, they were renewed without issues, but since version 7.0.x, they are not longer renewed, i look at the corn job that renew the ssl automatically, and i see some differences: In older versions (before 7.0.x), the cron job that renewed the SSL for websites, automatically turn off http to https and redirect, renewed the SSL and back to turn on http to https and redirect, and the certs SSL were renewed fine. But in the newest versions (after 7.0.x) that feature that turn off and on http to https and redirect is missing from the cron job.....why???? that results in, if the website have a redirect, it no longer renewed because of that... in the later versions, like the previous, the manual method to renew the ssl certs do that, turn off and on the http to https and redirect, and the ssl is renewed without issues....but why that feature is no longer available in the cron job?....that breaks the renew automatically method....why is not present in the 7.0.x versions, like before in previous version ??? 6.8.3x....when it worked fine?...thanks for your help!!!

Hello, thanks for reply, but in the imagen is the redirect that point to that path, of course that not happened in the older versions because the cron job turn off redirect, renew the ssl with no issue, and turn on redirect, everything was fine before....we are using the 7.0.5 version, and no, we are not using security software, and can't upgrade to latest (7.0.6) because there are reports in the forum that WP tab is missing in that version and the Wordpress sites are having issues in the 7.0.6 version, and we have various sites running in WP in that server...

Hello, does this file exist in the website directory? WP has fixed this problem, it is recommended that you try updating to 7.0.6

Hello, thanks for reply, i copied the file that exist in the original location of the site, to that location shown in the image (redirect path) and i'll check if the site ssl is renewed via the cron job...i'll let ypu know...if you say that the WP problem was fixed in 7.0.6 and the WP sites are working with no issue now, i'll check upgrading to that version....i'll let you know if something happen...thanks!

Hello, i tried copying the file but it doesn't work, give me the same error but with other file....i think is because this website have redrect....pointing to another path, and of course the file isn't there....:

Why te cron renew job is not turn off http to https and redirect, renew the ssl and turn on again http to https and redirect now?....was working before....(i can't upgrade to ver 7.0.6 now...i guess the next week maybe....but if in the new version still have the same issue?? ...i'm still now in ver 7.0.5 for now....

Hi, i agree with this, if that funcionality that have been implementeded in versions 6.x would be in the latest versions 7.0.x the renewal process for SSL via the cron job for sites that has redirect in it, it would be with no issues.....
