aaPanel_Kern it's a virtual machine on top of proxmox server, it's a ubuntu 24.04 lts, i've others servers with ubuntu 24.04 and all i have the same issues

First of all hello everyone,
I installed AApanel to test it, MariaDB 11.4 and 11.3 versions could not install on Ubuntu 22.04 no matter what I did. I have enough knowledge on many panels. I want to have experience on AApanel as well.
First of all, I cannot see what the error is because there is no log record regarding the MariaDB 11.4 and 11.3 installation steps.
I have been struggling with this problem for hours.
I ask you why people should pay for the AApanel license?
No one without experience can install this panel and therefore this panel cannot be widely used.

HI there. Same issue, unable to install mariadb 11.4. same error message as shared here.

and aapanel will not use mariadb if i install manually. it must be installed through aapanel.

Just to add . as mentioned by the first user. the issue is the tar file does not download properly. the file has zero bytes.

I have found the issue and fixed it.

the script mysql.sh has no logic to handle the mariadb_11.4 input

Original Code block:
'mariadb_11.3') sqlVersion=${mysql_mariadb_113} ;; esac

Replace With:

'mariadb_11.3') sqlVersion=${mysql_mariadb_113} ;; 'mariadb_11.4') sqlVersion=${mysql_mariadb_114} ;; esac

Original Code block:
if [ "${version}" == "mariadb_10.11" ] || [ "${version}" == "mariadb_11.3" ];then

Replace with:
if [ "${version}" == "mariadb_10.11" ] || [ "${version}" == "mariadb_11.3" ] || [ "${version}" == "mariadb_11.4" ];then

Issue 3:

Original code block:

Replace with:

this is the solution. but u must download mysql.sh from https://node.aapanel.com/install/0/mysql.sh

Also, the problem still exists. Why hasn't it been resolved yet?

i try to install compiled version and still have error, if i install with quick it install, what is the difference between compiled and quick?
