Hi, I am new to aapanel and like how easy it is to set up. I am learning a lot and trying to get a grasp of things quickly.
I have run into an issue which I am unsure of how to resolve.
I am able to send and receive emails fine through webmail.
my webmail is accessible via webmail.mydomain.com
I have my mail domain setup for mydomain.com as mail.mydomain.com
When I look at the Mail Server 7.3.6 app settings, it shows the following
POP service [ ServerAddress:mail.mydomain.com Port:110/995 ]
IMAP service [ ServerAddress:mail.mydomain.com Port:143/993 ]
SMTP service [ ServerAddress:mail.mydomain.com Port:25/465/587 ]
all associated ports appear to be open on my firewall within aapanel as well as my host cloud.
However when I try to add the email to my mail client, it is unable to connect regardless if I use POP3 or IMAP.
Most of my DNS Records resolves correctly, with the exception of DKIM and PTR, I am trying to resolve this at the moment, and believe this is an issue on my hosting side not aapanel itself, however I am not having any delivery issues with my emails. Rather some are going to SPAM and others are going to the inbox when testing deliverability which I'm not concerned about at this stage as I can fix this later unless of course this is part of the problem.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
