🔁 Replace 8.3.0 with the actual version number of your PHP 8.3 installation if it’s different.
You can find it via:
/www/server/php/83/bin/php -v
Then restart the panel:
bt restart

Then the panel was not accessible (error 502) so I rolled back to previous snapshot.
Now I'm on square 1 again.

I had the same problem on Ubuntu 22 — I couldn’t install any PHP version when using Apache + PHP in aaPanel.

Today (09-Aug-2025) I reinstalled the server with Ubuntu 20, and then the PHP installation worked fine.

On Ubuntu 22, Apache was showing warnings like:

[ssl:warn] AH01882: Init: this version of mod_ssl was compiled against a newer library (OpenSSL 1.1.1o ... OpenSSL 1.1.1f ...) - may result in undefined or erroneous behavior

[ssl:warn] AH01873: Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]

It seems there’s a compatibility issue between Apache’s mod_ssl in aaPanel and the OpenSSL version that comes with Ubuntu 22.
