Unable to apply for a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate using the server IP address

My version is 7.0.29

If it's a fresh installation of 7.0.29, the aapanel access address defaults to HTTPS, and during installation, a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for the IP address is automatically requested and applied to the aapanel access address.

However, if you are upgrading from an older version, or if you disabled panel SSL in aapanel version 7.0.29 and then re-enabled it, you cannot obtain a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate using the IP address (you can only obtain a certificate using a self-signed certificate or by binding a domain name).

Hello, you can try to repair the panel and go to the Panel SSL in the settings to use Let's Encrypt to apply
Enter your correct server internet IP
Or use IP application through the website interface, and then deploy to Panel SSL

I operated on the server with the newly installed panel, and Panel SSL seems to be working normally now.

However, this method does not work on another server that was upgraded from an older version to 7.0.29. After following your instructions (I tried the repair panel), the certificate I obtained is valid for 10 years.

Additionally, I noticed an additional bug. If you attempt this operation on the HTTP panel, you can apply for an SSL certificate and view its expiration date. Meanwhile, the Panel SSL will display as enabled. However, at this point, the panel has not actually enabled HTTPS. Only HTTP is accessible, and the panel's HTTPS is invalid.

Thank you for your feedback. This is a problem caused by applying for a self-signed certificate by default.
Is it normal for you to manually deploy Let's Encrypt's SSL?
