SSL certificate for aaPanel domain

Hello,
I have just installed aaPanel 8 on Debian 12, and I am trying to configure a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for the subdomain used to access the panel, but I am unsure about the correct procedure.

Here is my current setup:

I created a subdomain: srv1.mydomain.net (which is also the hostname of the VPS)
The DNS configuration includes an A record pointing to the public IP address of the server
In Settings -> Network & Access, I set srv1.mydomain.net in the Domain field

However, I am not sure how to correctly issue and bind a Let's Encrypt certificate for this domain.

Current situation in the panel:

Domains -> Domain Management: empty
Domains -> SSL Certificate -> Let's Encrypt: two entries are present
- a Let's Encrypt certificate issued for the server IP (5 days remaining)
- an aapanel.com entry

Could you please clarify the correct steps required to issue and apply a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for srv1.mydomain.net so that it secures access to the aaPanel interface?

I had read that page in the documentation, but it didn’t solve my problem (maybe I’m doing something wrong).
Please note that srv1.mydomain.net is also the hostname of the VPS.

I tried the following test:

from the (new) page Settings → Global → Panel SSL I clicked on Modify
in the Let’s Encrypt tab I entered srv1.mydomain.net in Panel domain

Result:

with File Verification option it gives an error
with DNS Verification option the following message appears:
"srv1.mydomain.net is not connected to the Domain Management Center and automatic installation is not possible."

With aaPanel 8, is it possible to obtain an SSL certificate without adding the subdomain srv1.mydomain.net in Website and being forced to create a web space?

It is recommended that you refer to the documentation for deployment. There are many ways
You can manually apply for SSL on the website and then deploy it to the panel.

I also encountered the same problem with the aaPanel access domain and was unable to resolve it.

How can I use aaPanel 8 to obtain a Let's Encrypt certificate for a subdomain (with Record A pointing to the server IP) that I use for web access to the panel, without having to create a web account from Website and without DNS management in aaPanel?
