Hi there,
I am reporting this just in case it can be traced as a bug with openlitespeed.
I have setup openlitespeed site is working all fine, generated let's encrypt ssl.
Everything seemed to be working fine. Wordpress detects litespeed and it loads up.
Unfortunately, I had to reinstall wordpress due to some failed restoration.
Removed the website > database > FTP accounts > root directory.
Reinstalled website and Wordpress.
This time around, still using OLS. However, connecting to the site shows "The connection was reset"
I troubleshooted for 4-5 hours already, and found out the issue.
Once you generate a let's encrypt certificate, you need to "deploy" the certificate otherwise the domain/website becomes unreachable state "The connection was reset".
Note: All cache, cookies, dns cache has been reset so it's not due to the browser.
After going to Website > Select the domain > Configuration > SSL > Certificate Holder (If an existing certificate is stored, you need to click deploy) and it will fix the connection reset error.
It seems like when there's a certificate, litespeed fails to connect using non-https thus requires the certificate to be deployed.
Off topic report:
Also, It seems like my IP address got blocked by aaPanel website lol too offensive firewall I guess.
Better check also the firewall as I am able to access aapanel forums from a tor browser but on my real ip it shows the server is down (most probably server side blocked or by cloudflare).
Just reporting this just in case the issue's can be replicated.
This is my first time to try your panel so far so good!
Hope to see more development
Best regards,
Wilfred B
